On Sunday 10th June, we hope to have  a visit from Chris & Helen Hawthorne and their family, who will be working with Grace Baptist Mission in Zambia.

For some years we have supported the work of the Albanian Evangelical Mission and have taken a particular interest in the work of Geni & Niki.

In April two of our church members Derek & Joan were able to visit Albania to see the work first-hand. Geni & Niki returned with them and on Sunday 13th May they were able to spend the day with us, joining in a fellowship lunch and a service at a local care home and then speaking about their work at our evening service.

On Wednesday 2nd May we had a visit from David Allen from the Trinitarian Bible Society. To find out more about their work click here.

On Friday 6th April, we held a one day Holiday Bible Club.

The children learnt about Jesus being the Bread and Water of Life and enjoyed singing choruses, learning a memory verse, baking bread and taking part in craft and quizzes.

On Sunday 17th December we had our Carol Service.

It was good to have a number of visitors with us as we listened to the Christmas message and sang a number of well known Carols.

On Friday 27th October we held a one day Holiday Bible Club for children ages 5-12.

The children enjoyed hearing the stories of Lydia and the Philippian Jailor in the morning and the Little Captive Maid and the boy with the five loaves and two fishes in the afternoon.

They also had fun singing choruses, learning a memory verse and taking part in crafts and quizzes.

On Sunday 17th September we had our Harvest Thanksgiving Service. We were again able to give food parcels to those in need in the area and it was good to have some visitors with us as we thanked God for His faithfulness through another year.

On the second weekend in September we took part in Heritage Open Days, giving visitors the opportunity to come and look round the church building, designed by local architect James Fenton.

On Saturday 8th July, we had our Hyland Games. A time of fun in Hylands Park (left) followed by a BBQ at the church.

On Wednesday 21st June we had a visit from The Christian Institute, speaking about Standing for Christ in the public square.
